WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING ?

The earth has been heating up and is now officially considered to be a hotter place than it has ever been. This is due to the increasing temperature of the atmosphere, and as a result, many natural phenomena have taken place over the world and are slowly disappearing. It seems like nothing at all can stop these drastic changes from happening as they have already begun to affect us all. What has taken place so far is that our planet's weathers are becoming dryer and drier.

Some things may be more pronounced, such as how many more days in a year in certain areas of the world will be required just for one rain falling on different parts of the planet. However, we are not aware of what is actually happening with these events, so we cannot control them, so in a way I don’t think people may want to hear so much about it. We also see the effects of other climatic events in the form of water levels rising and sea-level increasing, which is scary because we are being able to do anything we like, but at what cost, where will it take us? How will it even effect animals and plants? Or how will people feel when the temperatures start to rise further and higher? We don’t know how much longer we will live when there won’t be ice left over in the Arctic or Antarctic, so maybe life won‘t get any better.

There are certain places which would benefit immensely if there wasn’t such a big greenhouse effect. Areas like Iceland and Greenland are suffering because the snow and rain that normally comes through their mountains don’t make it to their beaches. So where are their animals? These are essential parts of their environment, and without ice cover there will not be room to hold their wildlife inside of it, so what will happen to the animal communities around these areas? How will this change wildlife populations? Will there be no forests and wetlands, since once the climate warms up so much, then everything stops, whether it will be rain forests or deserts? Who knows what will happen as time goes along? Can things stay the same for the worse part of all time or do some of the things begin to become harder and harder to handle? Even though ice cover in most cases isn’t going to disappear completely, or never can, it isn't impossible for it to freeze away and become permanently hard to reach. Another issue could be an asteroid crashing into Earth, which would cause extreme amounts of damage to buildings and roads. Also, we would lose the ability to tell the difference between right and wrong. If we lost these two things, what things would they be? Would they be different from each other? Would we be able to recognize what was truly a lie, such as if someone lies to get something, but is lying just so they can get away from getting caught?

The idea of having an alternative energy source for power may seem like a bad thing, however, this could be beneficial. For example, solar panels have been used in countries like Japan for generations. But if all were needed, what would they give us? The sun is free, so you can generate power any time you want to, even if it’s dark outside. Solar cells are cheap to produce and can save lives, so why can’t you harness this power, if there’s always sunshine to go by? You’re still free to run your appliances on power, so long as you are well covered. There are plenty of ways to use solar energy as a substitute, for example, using battery-operated radios and power tools like electric bikes. Yes, it will still be fairly high maintenance to keep your batteries and all of your gadgets powered on, but don’t worry, it will be manageable. Some of the biggest companies out there are working on developing new technology, so these technologies may eventually become easier, cheaper and more practical.Free Smoke Stacks Against Blue Sky Stock Photo

I think climate change is a real, dangerous and deadly threat; it has affected so many people and many different landscapes across the globe which in turn causes massive problems around the world in their ecosystems. People are dying, both within and without, because of the fact that things are changing and cannot sustain for the sake of survival anymore. Therefore, while this might be nice in theory, it really does come with a lot of potential repercussions and bad thoughts. Maybe it should be seen as a great opportunity to help people and make things better in the future as humans. Not only does everything need to balance out, it needs to balance out as soon as possible; otherwise, it will end up collapsing, and there could be more people dying.
